My main research field since 8 years is reuse of nutrient rich waste material from the society as fertilizer for increased tree growth. Tree growth and environmental effects of applied dry sludge from biogas plants are investigated in small field experiments as well as in practical scale. Since 2006, I am responsible for a project, focusing on the effects of stand treatment measures on the carbon dioxide sequestration in the forest ecosystem. I also have a part time commission as advisory researcher in a project aiming at increasing the production and supply of renewable biofuel from private forest owners in Sweden. I am also involved in research concerning seed problems, direct seeding and treatment of young stands.
