laudon_hMy research focus on biogeochemical and hydrological processes in the boreal forest landscape. I am especially interested in how processes in smaller landscape units scale up to hydrological and biogeochemical signals at a landscape scale. To fulfill my research objectives I am leading one of the most ambitious contemporary research projects on hydrology, biogeochemistry and stream ecology, Krycklan Catchment Study (KCS). The objective of this work is to understand and model how natural processes control water quality across spatial and temporal scales and how this could be affected by land-use and climate change.
